How to test that Slugbandit is working to protect your plants
Please note that in order to save power this light is not powerful and it may be difficult to see it in full sunlight.

Having connected the sections and installed the battery as previously described, and before completing the loop or positioning Slugbandit:

Step 1:
Press the TEST button on the Test Switch moulding as shown below. There is a light (LED) at the top of the Battery Box as shown below. If this light is on when the switch is pressed then you can be sure that the battery is charged and that the system is functioning.

Step 2:
After completing the loop and positioning Slugbandit, press the TEST button once again to ensure all is correct.

Step 3
Periodically test your Slugbandit installation to make sure that it remains operational.
Good alkaline batteries should last for around six months but a cheapie may only last for up to three weeks.
