IP Addresses, Logging, Cookies and Privacy:
Slugbandit servers may log information about visitors, including IP addresses, date/time visited, referring website, length of stay, etc..
This information is used for site usage statistics only and no personal information is collected.
Please note that we do not hold any personal data other than an invoice which we will hold in compliance with tax regulations.

www.slugbandit.co.uk links to other websites. The content and privacy policies are the responsibility of their respective owners and are linked in good faith. Links are clicked at clicker's risk and Alstonefield Engineering Solutions assumes no responsibility for them.

Warranty:
Slugbandit was tested at the time of manufacture and is warranted to be fit for purpose.
Defective product should be returned to the point of sale where you bought it.
No responsibility or obligation will be assumed by Alstonefield Engineering Solutions if:
- the battery is run down or defective
- the product has been unreasonably treated or damaged
- pests enter an enclosed area and cause damage to plants by burrowing, flying, jumping or using bridges to avoid contact with the bands
- the complaint is a result of dirt either in use or storage and the contacts have not been cleaned prior to (re)commissioning.
Notwithstanding anything here no warranty is given for any issue relating to any battery. 
None of these statements detract from any statutory right.

Returns where products have been sold directly by Alstonefield Engineering Solutions:
When purchased over the internet, customers have the legal right to cancel the order for Slugbandit parts within seven working days from receipt of the goods. To obtain a full refund this MUST be put in writing (e.g. by email or letter to an address on this website). If you do this you must take reasonable care of the goods in compliance with your statutory duty and are asked to ensure that batteries remain sealed.
Our terms are that returns are at customer's expense.
In the case of part cancellations the refund will take into account any discount as if the residual quantity had originally been ordered. 
In addition to your legal right, Slugbandit products may be returned at your expense for credit within two weeks of sale for:
 - credit in full if the original packing remains unopened.
 - credit at 80% if the packaging has been opened and Slugbandit is undamaged in any way,
OR refund in full if defective and within 18 months of invoice submitted as proof of date of purchase.

Consequential loss:
No responsibility will be accepted in respect of any consequential loss however caused.

Ownership:
Slugbandit is an European registered design and is a brand name of Alstonefield Engineering Solutions which owns the Slugbandit registered trademark together with the associated devices and symbols. Patents applied for. All rights reserved.

Design:
Continuous design improvements resulting in small constructional variations may be made without notice. However, any significant changes (e.g. to the overall size or concept) will be made known via this website.
